On May 15th, the world commemorates the Nakba ("Catastrophe"), marking the ethnic cleansing and displacement of Palestinians. However, the Nakba is not merely a historical event, it is an ongoing system of dispossession evident today in Gaza and across the West Bank.Program:

A screening highlighting "Exiled, Not Erased: The Struggle for Palestinian Refugee Rights." The film explores displacement and the severe restriction of movement in the West Bank under the ongoing Nakba.
Discussion Panel:
Following the film, we will host a critical discussion featuring two distinguished experts:
Milena Ansari: A Palestinian lawyer holding an LLM in international law and human rights. She has extensive experience defending Palestinian rights with leading organizations, analyzing systematic violations of prisoners' and children's rights.
Lubnah Shomali: Advocacy Manager at BADIL Center. Working with BADIL since 2012, she advances a rights-based decolonial framework centering on the Palestinian right to self-determination and return.
