Over the last twelve months, we’ve hosted new sounds, new collaborations, and new communities under one roof. It hasn’t been simple — growth never is — but the support from artists, promoters, and the dance floor has made it worthwhile. On Friday March 27th, we open our one-year anniversary weekend at GRIDWRKS with a true pillar of underground house music: Doc Martin.
For more than three decades, Doc has been a constant presence on dance floors from San Francisco’s early acid house era to Panorama Bar in Berlin, Fabric in London, DC10 in Ibiza, and Coachella. A former tour DJ for Deee-Lite and a collaborator alongside artists like Daft Punk, Chemical Brothers, James Brown, and Grace Jones, he represents a rare bridge between rave history and the present moment. What defines him isn’t the résumé — it’s the dance floor. Long-form, immersive sets that move through deep, tribal, psychedelic, and tech-leaning house with patience and control. No trends. Just trust, flow, and culture.
Co-presented by Pozativ (support by resident DJ Balu) and White Rabbit (support by resident DJ Rick Laplante), night one brings together an international architect of the underground and the local forces who helped shape GRIDWRKS’ first year.
