Our story for those who dont know...
As a widow and widower, we never imagined finding love again — but we found it in each other, and now we get to share that love with all of you at Gator Zone. This place is more than a business to us; it’s a second chance, a family, and a dream made possible by the support of friends, neighbors, and guests who have become family.
Meet the Gators Behind Gator Zone 🐊💚
Eric — aka “Master Gator”
Retired law enforcement and lifelong protector of the people… now protecting your game-day experience. 🇺🇸🏈
Eric brings integrity, leadership, and a serious eye for detail to Gator Zone. If you’re wondering why every TV is perfectly placed and why the golf simulator feels like Augusta — that’s him. He’s the mastermind behind the layout, the screens, the flow, and the overall design.
Basically, if you’ve ever said, “There’s not a bad seat in this place,” you can thank Master Gator.
Angela — aka “Gator Girl”
Hospitality is in her blood. 💚
Angela and her extended family previously owned and operated restaurants throughout New Jersey, so the business side of things? Second nature. She’s also a licensed Realtor in both New Jersey and South Carolina — because one state just isn’t enough.
Proudly Greek, with parents who migrated from Greece, Angela grew up on tradition, family, hard work, and legendary hospitality. She’s fluent in Greek and brings that warm, welcoming, feed-everyone energy into everything she touches at Gator Zone.
She’s the financial brain, the business backbone, and the social media savvy force keeping you updated, entertained, and coming back for more.
Together, their five children proudly continue that legacy of service in active-duty military, police, fire, counseling, and nursing. These shared values shape the welcoming, hardworking, and community-focused environment we strive to provide every single day.
Angela and Eric are always present at the bar, working alongside their fantastic team, greeting guests, and making sure everyone feels welcome. Gator Zone is a family-friendly space built on care, connection, and genuine hospitality — where every customer is treated like family.
The Name...True story...🐊
One day, we found an alligator hanging out under our backyard hammock. Yes — our yard is now fenced in 😅✔️ That little surprise sparked the name Gator Zone — and let’s be honest, it felt like the perfect match for a Sports Bar & Grille. Bold, local, a little wild, and always a good time… just like the crowd we love serving. 🍻🐊
Without this community, none of this would be possible. From the bottom of our hearts — thank you for supporting local, believing in us, and being part of our journey.
We’ve met so many amazing people and can’t wait for many more years of memories together.
