Join us for a truly inspiring and uplifting day - a chance for both new and current volunteers to come together, connect, and feel part of something special. The One Wish Volunteers Day is all about celebrating the incredible impact you help create, learning more about the mission behind One Wish, and exploring how your unique skills and passions can transform the lives of even more dogs in need.
You’ll hear the powerful story behind One Wish, take part in fun hands‑on activities (including reading dog behaviour and home‑visit scenarios), and get an inside look at how the charity runs - from our big vision to the everyday work that makes it all possible.
There’ll be plenty of time to chat, share experiences, and enjoy small‑group discussions where we explore what you love about One Wish, what you’re excited to contribute, and what you hope to get out of being part of the team. Together, we’ll shape priorities for the months ahead and create practical action plans to support everything from fundraising and community outreach to dog enrichment, foster support, and raising awareness.
Most importantly, this day is a chance to meet like‑minded people, build connections, and feel energised about the incredible difference you make. Whether you’re brand new or have been with us since the start, we’d love for you to join us, share ideas, have fun, and help us continue changing the lives of dogs who need us most.
We'll be providing a light lunch for everyone, refreshments throughout the day and as we'll be celebrating our 1st birthday, it would be rude not to enjoy a glass of "pawsecco" together.
