Moto season is here! Finally you see the sunrise in your rear mirror on the way to work or can go on the first warm evening group rides for dinner on the patio. Time to shed the extra layer under your leathers and always pack sunglasses when you leave. Even if you’re an all-year-round rider who couldn’t care less about the cold, rainy darkness and gears up for every scenario on the road – you’re probably happy about being dry and more comfortable these days. Or maybe you’re one of the lucky ones who escaped the Canadian winter and rode cool rental bikes in sunnier places, explored highways abroad, and can tell us all about the motorcycle culture you’ve encountered overseas. Story time!
This is Volume 11 of “One Time I Rode” with a roster of five slotted storytellers, plus open mic.
There are only two rules to participate:
1) Tell a motorcycle story – no matter if true or fiction, you can read or talk freely.
2) Tell it in maximum 10 minutes.
Melly Kage curated a handful of storytellers from the riding community who will share some of their adventures and anecdotes with us. They might even inspire you to get up and tell your own motorcycle tale at the end of the night ... Every rider has one, right?
Come out and enjoy the art of storytelling and connect with fellow riders on Saturday, April 27th, 7 p.m. There will be bikes and beverages, a cozy café setting, and old and new friends.
