About this Event

One Purpose. Real Power.

The Next Generation of Black Leadership — Heard, Not Just Seen

Black talent is everywhere. Yet the voices of the next generation are rarely centred in the conversations that shape their futures.

This event asks a different question.

Not "what does the pipeline need?"

But:

What do emerging Black leaders actually need to progress — and what must organisations now commit to making that happen?

In line with Black Inclusion Week 2026's theme — Driving Impact With Purpose, Delivering Real Outcomes — this conversation moves beyond retrospective accounts of barriers into a forward-looking, action-oriented dialogue led by the next generation themselves.

Through a candid panel of rising Black talent, we hear directly from young professionals who are navigating career progression, opportunity gaps, and the weight of representation — and who are ready to name what they need.

What We Explore

· What emerging Black talent actually needs to progress — in their own words

· The difference between being invited in and being set up to succeed

· Mentorship, sponsorship, and the people who genuinely open doors

· How to lean into opportunity with boldness, not just gratitude

· What organisations must do to convert talent into leadership

· How allies, funders, and sponsors can create follow-through — not just presence

Who This Is For

This is a room built for connection and accountability — designed for mentors, sponsors, funders, senior allies, and emerging talent alike. The curation is intentional: the right people in the room so that conversation translates into real relationships and real next steps.

You will leave not with inspiration alone, but with the connections and clarity to act.

Because talent is not the issue.
Opportunity — and who controls it — is.
