EN: Project ONE is a musical ritual performed in two voices through ONE common vector. Two artists share the same band, stage, and space—without hierarchy or separation.Breaking away from the traditional headliner–opener format, ONE presents a continuous, collaborative performance where both artists support and elevate each other’s work. It’s not two sets—it’s one unified musical conversation. An evening of discovery and shared expression, blurring boundaries and reconnecting performance with community.
This edition of Project ONE features Amira Liza and Johaedi, both accompanied by the same band throughout the performance.
Amira Liza, a Montreal-raised singer-songwriter born in Algeria, is a multidisciplinary artist with roots in theater, dance, culinary arts, and music. Drawing from hip-hop, jazz, Afrobeat, and R&B, her sound is as diverse as her background. Her multilingual lyrics—written in French, English, Arabic, and Spanish—highlight her unique global perspective and expressive range.
Johaedi, a Cameroonian-born artist, brings a rich blend of cultural experiences from Zimbabwe, Congo-Brazzaville, and Canada into her music. Singing primarily in English and French, her songs explore identity, love, and growth, set against a backdrop of jazz, R&B, and Afropop. Her influences include Norah Jones, Summer Walker, Richard Bona, and Ayo.
Together, Amira Liza and Johaedi invite audiences into a shared world of rhythm, language, and soulful connection.

FR: Project ONE est un rituel musical interprété à deux voix à travers un vecteur commun. Deux artistes partagent le même groupe, la même scène et le même espace, sans hiérarchie ni séparation.
S'éloignant du format traditionnel tête d'affiche-première partie, ONE présente une performance collaborative continue où les deux artistes se soutiennent et s'enrichissent mutuellement. Il ne s'agit pas de deux sets, mais d'une conversation musicale unifiée. Une soirée de découverte et d'expression partagée, qui brouille les frontières et reconnecte la performance avec la communauté.

Amira Liza, auteure-compositrice-interprète née en Algérie et élevée à Montréal, est une artiste multidisciplinaire qui a ses racines dans le théâtre, la danse, les arts culinaires et la musique. S'inspirant du hip-hop, du jazz, de l'afrobeat et du R&B, son style musical est aussi diversifié que ses origines. Ses paroles multilingues, écrites en français, en anglais, en arabe et en espagnol, mettent en valeur sa perspective mondiale unique et sa gamme expressive.
Johaedi, artiste née au Cameroun, apporte à sa musique un riche mélange d'expériences culturelles du Zimbabwe, du Congo-Brazzaville et du Canada. Chantant principalement en anglais et en français, ses chansons explorent l'identité, l'amour et la croissance, sur fond de jazz, de R&B et d'afropop. Elle est influencée par Norah Jones, Summer Walker, Richard Bona et Ayo.
