Picky Pickers is a Montréal Blue Grass band that have been touring all around Québec for the past 3 years. Their sound is connected to the tradition of the genre and its intricacies. One could say they are nerds (in a good way).
If you like the sound of the Stanley Brothers, Reno and Smiley and other early traditional string band music this quartet is for you.
The band is: Thuya Boivin on banjo and lead vocals,
Lucas Choi Zimbel on guitar,
Antoine Labrecque on mandolin
Isaac Seglins on the Upright Bass Fiddle and for her first time with us Maia Dagher on the fiddle.
