Puzzle Chess is an innovative new format of competitive jigsaw puzzling which allows players to play multiple opponents over small, quick puzzles - it's a fun, beginner-friendly approach to puzzling against a timer!
- There will be a gameplay demo before rounds start, so you don't need to have any experience to sign up for this!
- There will be 3 rounds of 1-v-1 matches.
- Borders will be constructed off the clock before the match begins.
- In each match, players will take turns to place one piece at a time in the puzzle, using a chess clock to track the time taken to do so. The player with the most time remaining on the clock at the end of the match wins.
- Puzzles will range from 80-150 pieces.
- There is no elimination - all players play through all rounds!
- The 3 top-ranked players at the end of the tournament win a Jigsaw Nation puzzle to take home!
