About this Event
Join us to hear from diverse stakeholders in Dallas' housing landscape, brought to you by buildingcommunityWORKSHOP and Dallas Housing Coalition.
Over the last 20 years, [bc] has initiated built works and dialogue around community-based housing to explore how diverse housing types can be used as a tool for affordable homeownership. Examples include their 2024 +ONE Report and "missing middle housing" models such as cottage courts and duplexes. [bc]’s most recent report explores how the Duplex model can unlock affordable homeownership
After his presentation, [bc] Executive Director Benje Feehan will moderate a panel featuring: Jason Brown, President of Dallas City Homes; Ossie Kendrix, Executive Director of the Dallas Community Land Trust; Haley Coates-Huseman, Chief Real Estate Office at Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity; and Forrest Branam, Principal of Sol-Homes.
