This immersive one-day course introduces participants to the fundamentals of human tracking, providing hands-on experience in detecting, interpreting, and following human sign in various terrains. Whether for search and rescue, law enforcement, military applications, or personal skill development, learning to track is an invaluable tool in understanding human movement and uncovering hidden details in the environment.
What You’ll Learn:
✅ The Basics of Tracking – Understanding the history, importance, and modern-day applications of Mantracking.
✅ Reading the Ground – Recognizing and interpreting human footprints, disturbances, and other trace evidence.
✅ Identifying Sign – Spotting subtle changes in the natural environment that indicate human presence.
✅ Track Aging & Interpretation – Determining the age of a track and reconstructing movement patterns.
✅ Following a Trail – Practical exercises in tracking individuals through different terrain.

Wild camping is available at the Survive & Revive Woodland School, which comprises of a Hearth and tarpaulin setup and a simple composting toilet.
