Leave the city behind and step into nature! Breathe in the fresh air, discover stunning places and recharge with forest bath meditation. Prepare your backpack—we’re heading to the Bükk Mountains! 🥾🌲Program:
- Meet and greet at the Budapest Stadion Volánbusz,
- Travel together to Szilvásvárad (approx. 2 H 30 m) via direct bus,
- Warm up and settle for day around the Szalajka valley, you can buy food and drinks for the day.
- Hike time! We will start walking and explore the magnificent valley, with lakes, caves, and the rich flora and fauna. We will proceed towards Bélapátfalva, where the scenery will change from forest to lunar landscapes with breathtaking views. In good weather conditions, you can see Mátra from here!
- The art of meditation: During our hike, we will take our time to experience real contact with nature and the forest, focusing on the meaning of grounding—a very relaxing practice.
- Feel recharged :)
-We will end our adventure in Bélapátfalva to take our bus back to Budapest (via Eger.)
The hiking trail is approx. 18 KM long with T1 terrain difficulty, means no big obstacles but requires some stamina to go through the trail. No big up and down either. Suitable for first time hikers.
Hiking time: 5 and 30 min hours raw time, there will be stops and enough rest.
Ticket: 4,095 HUF
