The Dark Mistress of Tightrope Theatre has uncovered an ancient, forbidden tome that promises her ultimate power, filled with the wildest, most diabolical improv challenges ever conceived. She’ll put our bravest performers through trials of wits and endurance… all for your twisted delight.
Will she ascend from hell? And will our cast live to tell the tale?
Only one thing’s certain: chaos and laughter await–if you dare to join us.

This show runs roughly 60 minutes with no intermission.
Online tickets sold will be held for up to 5 minutes past the show start time. If ticket buyer does not show up, that ticket will be subject to becoming a rush ticket.

The main entrance is the ground floor. The door is wide enough to accommodate a standardized wheelchair and electric wheelchair. Our main lobby, bar and theatre are wheelchair accessible. Our stage is not as it is about 4 inches off the ground.
Unfortunately, as of right now our bathrooms are not wheelchair accessible. The closest wheelchair accessible washroom is at the Mount Pleasant Community Centre, across the street from the theatre. Their hours of operations are Monday-Friday, 6 am-10 pm, Saturday, 8 am-6 pm, and Sunday, 9 am to 6 pm.

At Tightrope Theatre, our shows are 16+ due to the improvised nature of our work which can often include adult themes, language, and situations.
Even if a child (or their parents) are comfortable with them experiencing adult content, their presence can impact the experience for the rest of the audience. Many guests may feel distracted, adjusting their own comfort levels or filtering their reactions based on the presence of a minor. Instead of fully immersing themselves in the performance, they may be preoccupied with how the child is processing the content, which affects their ability to relax and enjoy the show.
Live theatre thrives on shared energy, and we want to ensure that everyone in the room can enjoy the show to its fullest.
