Train - Transport Options to and from Chorley Station:
Day 1 - Train From Manchester Airport → Chorley (CRL)
Option 1:
- Take the train from Manchester Airport to Chorley. Trains run two or three per hour, approx. 50 minutes, no changes.
Option 2:
- Take the train from Manchester Airport to Manchester Piccadilly (trains run regularly, approx. 20 minutes).
- From Manchester Piccadilly, take a direct Northern Rail train to Chorley (approx. 35 minutes).
- Total travel time: around 1 hour.
Day 3 - Train from Chorley (CRL) to Manchester Airport
- Take the train from Chorley to Manchester Airport. Trains run two or three per hour, at approximately 22 and 36 minutes past the hour. Travel is about 1 hour, no changes.

- Northern Rail operates direct trains from Manchester Piccadilly to Chorley.
- Journey time is approximately 35 minutes.

- The drive to Chorley takes around 40–50 minutes, depending on traffic.
