Got an itch for a mystery? Need a little intrigue in your life? This year the One Book One Putnam committee has selected the classic mystery novel that kicked off the film noir genre, The Maltese Falcon by Dashiell Hammett! This year's kickoff event will have the usual fun we've all come to enjoy, including a guest speaker and several interesting displays to learn a bit about what the world was like during the events of the book. Refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public.
