About this Event
One Big Day is a day to come together to be refreshed and renewed in your ministry to children, young people and families.
Inspired by the biblical account of Nehemiah, we will be exploring how through shared endeavour we can be Christ-centred and bold in our discipleship and mission to children, young people and families through:
• Missional Vision
• Hope-filled leaders
• Communities of disciples
• Growing younger and more diverse
We hope delegates will be inspired to reflect on their own context and practice; responding to the call of where Christ is leading them and being practically equipped.
The day will include:
• Keynotes from Sammy Jordan, Director of The Hive Network.
• Eight seminar sessions on a range of topics. (Delegates will get a chance to choose 2 options)
• Local stories.
• Worship.
• Reflection and Blessing from The Rt Revd Dr Jane Steen, The Bishop of Lynn.
• A marketplace of resources including Green Pastures Christian Bookshop, local and national organisations.
And… we’ll provide breakfast, lunch and refreshments through the day so you can be fuelled to focus on learning and engagement!
Everyone is welcome whether you are a volunteer, paid church worker, church leader, teacher, schools worker, parent or grandparent!
Come as an individual, or we’d love for you to come with a team or a friend so you can discuss and share content across the day.
This is One Big Day not to be missed.
