Step into a world of imagination at Once Upon a Craft! Join us on Saturday, May 26th from 1–3PM for a fun-filled, drop-in event designed especially for children ages 3–7.Young creators will explore six engaging sensory play and craft stations inspired by favorite children’s books. Paint a wooden cutout of a groovy cat inspired by Pete the Cat—complete with removable buttons for storytelling fun. Build fine motor skills while beading a caterpillar craft modeled after The Very Hungry Caterpillar, and dive into a playful process art activity by rolling trucks through paint just like The Little Blue Truck.
Kids can also explore a tropical sensory bin inspired by Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, create at a shimmering play dough station themed around The Rainbow Fish, and enjoy a sweet treat with a chocolate chip cookie inspired by If You Give a Mouse a Cookie.
This hands-on experience encourages creativity, storytelling, and sensory exploration in a playful, welcoming environment. Parents or caregivers are expected to stay and participate with their child for the duration of the event.
