On The Trail Clinic Format: This is a unique clinic, as rather than being based in an arena, it will be based out ‘on the trail’ on a stunning Manawatu beef & sheep farm with diverse terrain for us to ride over. You will be working with your horse on a variety of practical, real life situations using horsemanship principles and foundational communication. We will be addressing common situations people face while on the trail trekking out and working as a group to help individual horses and riders navigate problems with feel, respect, trust and encouragement.
Date: January, Saturday 31st & February Sunday 1st, 2026
Time: 9:00am – 4:00pm
Where: Dick Road, Kimbolton, Manawatu, NZ
Cost: NZ$440 per participant (for both days) + arena/farm fee
Arena/Farm Fee: NZ$40 (for both days)
Spectators: No spectators for this clinic, as its based out on the trail.
No Dogs: Absolutely no dogs allowed on site as this is a working farm.
Overnight Camping/Horses: Overnight is free. Please bring tape/standards feed/water bucket for your horses. Camping facilities for people are very basic, toilet, hotwater for tea/coffee, bbq for cooking and participants can camp in their floats or bring tents. Food is not included so you need to bring this along and have lunch option you are able to pack on horseback.
