ON THE HOUSE 004On The House returns for its fourth edition; an open invitation to dancers, selectors, and the curious alike. Built around shared energy rather than hierarchy, this is a night where every artist shapes the arc, and the floor becomes the common ground.
For this edition we welcome DJ Hidi, a selector whose story is as rich as his sound. A fixture of Montreal’s scene, Hidi blends his Tokyo roots with the city’s after-hours energy, crafting sets that move effortlessly between electronic and organic textures. His approach is intuitive and deeply personal; pulling from everyday life, vinyl culture, and dancefloor emotion to create something that feels both warm and transportive.
Alongside, Ostrich delivers a sound that’s both playful and precise; digging into stripped-back rhythms, off-kilter grooves, and richly layered selections. Known for building momentum without rushing it, Ostrich’s sets tend to unfold with intention, moving between warm house tones and more intricate, percussive territories while keeping the dance floor fully engaged..
Guiding the night from start to finish are hosts Trevor Kiernander and Cristobal Urbina, setting the tone, shaping the flow, connecting the dots, and holding space for something that sits between a party and a shared community ritual.
Special guest appearance - MAUS with her dynamic sets, rooted in soul, disco, deep house, and groove create an elegant yet visceral connection with the crowd.
