Josh Nowak | Director - Night Café
Josh Nowak, a filmmaker from Columbus Ohio, made his mark producing 'Poser,' a standout indie film premiering at Tribeca in 2021. In 2023, he wrote and directed 'Night Cafe,' which premiered at Santa Barbara International Film Festival and earned Best Director at Cindependent. Now, he's focusing on freelance cinematography—shooting commercials, branded content, documentaries, and music videos.
Silas Tibbs | Director - Attrition
Silas Tibbs is a formally trained filmmaker, writer, and thespian who seeks to use the mesmerizing powers of the cinematic, theatrical, and visual arts to articulate the unutterable - the deepest longings of every human. His work, although crossing into many mediums, forms, and genres, seeks to remain deeply human.
David Chimusoro | Director - Love Letter to Cincinnati
David Chimusoro is a local poet, comedian and poet creating expansive award-filming short films. He works as a digial and media specialist for the mayor of Cincinnati.
Moderator, Allyson West | Executive Director - Cindependent
Allyson West is an award-winning film producer and director as well as the founder and Executive Director of The Cindependent Film Festival. Recent projects include directing Issa Rae as well as creating children’s characters and festival mascots Crunchy and Bubs.
