4-Week On-Camera Mastery
This four-week session offers a deeper dive into the craft and business of on-camera acting. Each week includes scene work, playback, tailored coaching, and industry insights.
By the end of the session, students will walk away with greater confidence, stronger technical skills, and a clearer understanding of how to bring truthful, compelling performances to the screen.
About the Instructor: Cassandra Blair, known for her role as Vanessa in the Emmy- and Golden Globe-nominated series Jury Duty, has been working in TV and film for over a decade and is a Peabody recipient and Independent Spirit Award winner.
Structure
- Industry Warm-Up: Updates, questions, and discussion on branding and career growth.
- Scene Work: Cold reads, on-camera taping, and playback with group analysis.
- Coaching: Explore tools and methods that help connect authentically to the material.
- Self-Taping: Each week, some students will do their second take in class while others complete a self-tape at home. Everyone gets both experiences during the course.
