Join us during ArtWauk for a free live concert at Stern’s Plaza in downtown Waukegan featuring Omar Coleman.Born and raised on the West Side of Chicago, Omar Coleman is the real deal. Known for his soulful vocals and fiery harmonica skills, he delivers an authentic blues sound that has captivated audiences from the Windy City to San Francisco, France, Brazil, and beyond.
A nominee for “Most Outstanding Musician” by Living Blues Magazine, Omar continues to make waves in the blues scene. Recently signed to Color Red Music, he teamed up with world-renowned producer Eddie Roberts (New Mastersounds) to create a soulful, modern blues sound for the 21st century.
Bring your chairs, blankets, and snacks and settle in for a great evening of live music in the heart of downtown. You can also grab your favorite drink from a downtown bar or restaurant and bring it to the plaza as long as it is in a plastic cup.
ArtWauk takes place from 5 PM to 9 PM on the third Saturday of every month and features open studios, galleries, live music, food, drinks, and creative experiences throughout downtown Waukegan.
