About this Event
The Omaha Freedom Festival provides for cultural and historical
celebration in addition to education, entertainment and exposure to
resources from 12pm-midnight to not only those in North Omaha, but
actively markets to the entire metropolitan area and targeted tourism
pockets in the Midwest to create positive economic development.
It was first offered in 2021 to create an all-day companion
celebration event to expand the existing morning Juneteenth Parade
which has been taking place annually in North Omaha by the NAACP
Omaha chapter from 10am-noon. Parade attendees historically
represent the North Omaha neighborhoods.
It provides Free, Safe, Family, Fun Activities During the Hours of Noon to 5pm
Bike Give Aways, Arts & Crafts, Carnival Games , Entertainment and more!!
Concert later that Evening at 7:00pm with a Charge $$$

The first festival was successfully held in 2021
Raheem DeVaughn (born May 5, 1975) is an American singer and songwriter.[1] His debut album, The Love Experience (2005), reached No. 46 on the US Billboard 200 album chart. It featured the singles "Guess Who Loves You More" and "You". His second album Love Behind the Melody was released in January 2008. It features the singles "Woman", and "Customer".
DeVaughn was nominated for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance at the 2008 Grammy Awards for the single "Woman". His third album The Love & War MasterPeace was released in 2010. A Place Called Love Land, his fourth album, was released in 2013. In 2015, he had released his fifth album, Love Sex Passion. DeVaughn released his sixth album Decade of a Love King on October 19, 2018. On June 28, 2019, DeVaughn released The Love Reunion, his seventh studio album, featuring the lead single, "Just Right".
Tink, is an American rapper, singer and songwriter from Chicago, Illinois. She is best known for the single "Treat Me Like Somebody" and for the collaboration with singer and producer Jeremih on "Don't Tell Nobody". Since 2012, she has released seven mixtapes and has gone independent due to label issues regarding the release of her debut album. Her 2014 mixtape, Winter's Diary 2: Forever Yours, was featured as a top 10 R&B album in both Rolling Stone and Billboard magazines
Changing Faces is an American female R&B duo that was initially active between the years 1994 until their hiatus in 2000. Changing Faces' first two singles—"Stroke You Up" and "Foolin' Around"—were written and produced by R. Kelly. The two singles reached the R&B Top Ten in late 1994, with "Stroke You Up" peaking at number three on the Billboard Hot 100 charts.
Kut Klose is an American R&B trio that formed in Atlanta, Georgia. The three female singers that made up the group were Athena Cage, Lavonn Battle and Tabitha Duncan. The girls were discovered by Keith Sweat who produced their debut album. They are best known for their hit single "Get Up On It" (featuring Keith Sweat), "I Like" and the album Surrender.
