Walk Description: The Olympic Village was built as athlete housing for the 2021 Winter Olympics. This award winning compact urban village features green roofs, water harvest / re-use and a wide variety of public green rainwater infrastructure. A fun walk on the edge of False Creek!

Walk Leader: Cam Owen is an Urban Planner / Landscape Architect with the City of Vancouver's Urban Watershed Division. He will talk about planning for Green Rainwater Infrastructure and how this contributes to making the city livable.
Starting place: Olympic Village Plaza near the Large Sparrow Sculpture.
How to recognize your walk leader(s): Cameron will be wearing his POLER ball cap.
