✨ Olivia’s Mission – 1st Annual Women’s Health & Wellness Event ✨We are excited to invite our community to Olivia’s Mission first annual Women’s Health & Wellness Education Event taking place:
📅 April 11th
⏰ 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon
📍 ODell Women’s Center – 45 Lyman St, Springfield, MA
This special event is an opportunity to come together, learn, and empower women through education, connection, and community collaboration.
During the event we will be co-presenting on important women’s health topics, including:
✨Preventive health screenings for women and the importance of understanding accessibility and family health history
🤍Family dynamics and how they influence healthy vs. unhealthy relationships in adolescents
🧠Mindfulness and the importance of managing life’s stressors to support our mental, emotional, and physical well-being
🌎 The impact of social determinants of health (SDoH) and access to care in our communities
I am honored to collaborate with two amazing Public Health students from UMass Amherst:
✨ Colleen Moran, MPH, Senior at UMass Amherst majoring in Public Health with a focus on Health Policy and Management, who will share insights on family dynamics and adolescent relationships.
✨ Vanessa Mensah, a Public Health Science major and Women and Gender Studies minor at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, who will present on the importance of women’s health screenings and accessibility to care.
✨ Areliz Olivia Barbosa, BS, CHW, CEO and Founder of Olivia’s Mission, will be presenting on mindfulness and the importance of managing life’s stressors, highlighting the connection between mental, emotional, and physical wellness.
Together we will be co-presenting and facilitating conversations that help educate, support, and empower women and families in our community.
We will also have local women-owned businesses joining us to share their work and connect with the community.
🎟️ This event is FREE and open to all ladies.
If you feel led to support, we will be accepting donations of feminine hygiene products and/or diapers to help support community partners across Western Massachusetts.
