Join us for an evening with Oliver's Father – also known as Anatolie Cantir, cultural analyst and speaker, and the author of the bestseller Danish Culture is an ‘Extreme’.We guarantee an evening with insights on Danish parenting culture, laughs, and time to ask questions and share your own experience on the topic.
ABOUT THE TALK
Danes have made it a national trait to search for "common ground". In just about any encounter, they look for shared interests, shared context, and even shared purposes.
There’s definitely something to learn from this when it comes to cooperation, because it creates a real sense of togetherness and belonging. That’s essentially what “𝐟æ𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐤𝐚𝐛” is about.
Our presenter, Anatolie Cantir has a take on the “the Danish way”:
“My son has been going to the same kindergarten for quite a while. We interact daily with parents and teachers, and yet hardly anyone actually knows me - or even my real name. But everyone knows exactly who I am: Oliver’s father. Not because they’re being unfriendly, but because that’s our shared point of reference. That’s common ground.”
Anatolie will take a fun, honest and relatable look at Denmark’s inclusively exclusive culture - this time starting from the kindergarten as the perfect little microcosm of Danish society.
