OLDFIELD YOUTH CLUBFormed in the Autumn of 2018 the OYC is made up of 3 quarters of critically acclaimed 1980's pop group The Last Party (2 No. Peel Sessions and Melody Maker Single of the Week with their debut single ‘Mr Hurst’).
Featuring Simon Rivers (Bitter Springs), Neil Palmer and Kim Rivers, this trio play thoughtful catchy pop with rich lyrics and great melodies.
The idea behind OYC was to pare down and simplify Simon’s songs and as a result most of them are short and powerful and very direct, with the trademark outstanding Rivers lyrical content.
The band have cut their teeth on a few gigs now ...supporting The Nightingales in Middlesbrough, The Bitter Springs in London, and Austerity in Brighton and are currently on tour with a number of gigs in April/May/June promoting their first release a double a-side single (release date at the end of April).
They are currently working on their debut album ‘The Hanworth are Coming’ featuring tracks aired at the live shows……. We hope you will enjoy….

Audioporn play their first gig of 2026 at The Hampton HUB. Their first album “Tank” (produced by Brian Tench -Kate Bush The Hounds Of Love) is now a cult classic. The follow up: “A Message From Our Sponsors“ now seems eerily prescient of the times that followed over a decade later. Support shows with Echo And The Bunnymen, The Fall, Violent Femmes, The Stranglers and The Beat saw them develop a loyal following, cult status and a unique live show that was both theatrical, edgy, groovy and uplifting.
The expanded line up (including Hampton HUB regular Lulu May) bring their unique blend of theatrics and addictive grooves to Hampton Hub on 22nd August 2026.
