Enjoy a carnival type setting with over 50 costumed vendors offering spooky wares, photo ops for your Halloween memories, face painting, balloon animals & artistry, tarot card readings to know your future, and much more. Aerial gymnasts, magicians, ghost soldiers, ghost sailors, fire walkers, jugglers, stilt walkers, balloon animal makers, and other costumed entertainers will roam the grounds keeping everyone entertained. Some of the statues may come to life! Tarot card readers will gaze mytically into your future!The Marketplace is free and open to all, COME EARLY before your ticketed Ghost Walk time and enjoy! Two full blocks of Court Street, between High and County streets will be closed for this Halloween celebration. This will be a kid-friendly, wheelchair-friendly event for you to attend. You can also enjoy Guad's Olde Towne Day of the Dead activities, with food and drink specials and a heated outdoor dining and drinking area facing the Ghost Walk Marketplace festivities.
Free parking available on the street or in garages located on County St, Middle St., and Water St.
in addition to the Marketplace, don't miss the 40th Annual Ghost Walk if you're so inclined. It begins and ends at the Marketplace, and takes you on a guides foot tour of Olde Towne where you will see and hear stories from Olde Towne's past ... told by the ghosts themselves as you meet them along the route!
Also, you can participate in the Hill House Night at the Museum spooky Victorian wake! Tickets will be available at the Marketplace and a golf cart shuttle will whisk you back and forth.
Arrive early, at least 45 minutes before your designated Ghost Walk ticket start time, and enjoy the entertainers, ghosts, costumed vendors, Halloween treats, snacks, music, unique holiday-themed gifts, a flamed Hearse photo op, and all the other family-friendly activities in the Ghost Walk Marketplace.
