About this Event
Beer, the amber liquid that once flowed freely in Green Bay, was more than a beverage, it was a tradition handed down through the generations. The city had five breweries during the latter half of the nineteenth century that supplied the area’s saloons with refreshing beverages.
In partnership with the Brown County Historical Society, hear the forgotten stories of the struggles and challenges that faced the brewing industry in Green Bay. From one of the worst industrial accidents in the city’s history to how the breweries survived prohibition. Over 100 years of history will come alive with three special guests relaying accounts of their lives in the brewing industry. You will be surprised who becomes the real heroes of Green Bay's breweries...
This is a seated, two-hour storytelling experience featuring:
• Five curated beer samples
• One small bite served midway through the program
• Live historical narration by Dennis
• Possible guest actress portrayals woven into the evening
Parlor Room doors open at 5:30 PM.
Program begins at 6:00 PM and concludes around 8:00 PM.
Limited to approximately 50 guests for an intimate experience.
