Join us upstairs at The Hop Inn on the second Wednesday of every month for a night of laughs at the Old Town Comedy Club Fresh Material Night! Comics from across the UK roadtesting brand spanking new jokes!
The headliner for our Christmas show in Decemeber is Winner of the Audience Favourite Prize at the Musical Comedy Awards and fresh from a sell-out run at previous Edinburgh Fringe Festivals, David Hoare.
David has performed alongside the likes of Sarah Millican, Nish Kumar, Rosie Jones and Ed Gamble!

- Those attending must be 18+
- We do not accept large parties of stag dos or hen parties, apologies.
- We do not allow people to record any footage of the event on personal cameras or phones
- Some acts may be recording their own performances, however this will not include a front-facing recording of the crowd.
- Any behaviour we deem untoward or too disruptive to the show will return in being asked to leave with the venue's policy on behaviour taken into account, also.
- You are welcome to take photos, we will be taking some on the night for social media purposes.
