The Four O Clocks are comin' at Carrolton with some rollickin' old time Appalachian music from Maggie Hall (Guitar), Jenna Mobley (bass/fiddle), Jeremy Aggers (clawhammer banjo), and Max Godfrey (fiddle). We've played shows and dances as far afield as Alabama and North Carolina, and we play every tuesday night at Home Bar in Atlanta. Our first album drops in August!Doors at 6 PM, Show at 7 PM

Trudging alone up a deep forest trail, you catch a whiff of campfire smoke. Clanking of pots and pans, snapping of twigs, the sizzle of meat in hot grease. Hark! A drum-like bum-ditty bum-ditty from a banjo, the otherworldly wail of a cross-tuned fiddle like a flock of strange birds heading to roost. You follow the sound to the edge of a clearing, where in the late-afternoon sunlight you witness pink and yellow flowers pinwheeling open to the evening, explosions of color against a sea of deep green leaves. These are the Four O’ Clocks. Creatures of the golden hour, summoning weary, solitary travellers together to dance, saw, plunk, strum, and howl away in harmony at the rising moon.
