Informal social skating event on hard-tails, wooden skates, modern claps, nordic blades, or whatever sliding contraption you can strap to your feet!
Join skateNOW, llc in Butte, Montana for retro skating fun on the ice, and help support the Butte High Altitude Skating Center.
This is the perfect format for masters skaters or anyone training for outdoor speedskating experience. *Races and/or Marathon on either Sat/Sun TBA. Check back for updates.
TENTATIVE SCHEDULE:
🔶Friday: arrival, with afternoon/evening skating, dinner at the rink(or, on your own). Fri night is a public session evening skate 7-9pm, plan your skate day accordingly.
🔶Saturday: *Races(TBA), and just fun skating!
Group dinner on Sat night (TBA).
🔶Sunday: Open Skating, early to mid morning, then lunch (at the rink or on your own), mid-day departure.
🔶Monday: Check-out. Ice time is own your own.
This is a self-pay trip, travel fees to/from, hotel accommodations, food/meals, and other incidentals are at your own expense.
Please be mindful of all Montana, and rink-posted, covid measure that may be in effect.
