Richard Humbles (born April 14, 1994), professionally known as RizzyBeats is an American hip-hop producer and rapper from Wilmington, NC. He began seriously making beats at the age of 17. The first project he fully produced was as apart of the duo, Coastal Connection, which was a pairing between RizzyBeats and California-based rapper/producer Thesis.
After Coastal Connection, RizzyBeats began releasing several instrumental projects and also fully produced an EP for friend and frequent collaborator, Wethaman, known now as Ryan Ellis. He is currently a member of the Beats & Coffee crew, a Wilmington-based hip-hop producer collective, and is regularly featured in their releases and performs with the group as well. He produced seven of the eleven songs on RYAN ELLiS' debut album as well as heading up an executive producer role.
RizzyBeats is currently working on several projects. His releases include "Joseph's Book" an instrumental EP, "One Shall Pass (The RizzyBeats Remixes)" a remix project remixing all the songs from the album "None Shall Pass" by Aesop Rock, "The Owl Tapes" a concept album starring Robin Domes (RizzyBeats' alter ego) and an instrumental album entitled "Thank You, Hayao," a dedication to director Hayao Miyazaki.
Most recently, RizzyBeats has tried to remain productive through the pandemic. He continued his storyline from "The Owl Tapes" with 2021's "The Mistrial of Robin Domes." Again, RizzyBeats took on all production duties and enlisted a few of his friends to assist in fleshing out the story. Stay tuned for more entries into this universe. RizzyBeats also released another instrumental project in line with his dedication series, this time paying homage to that wonderous programming block known as Toonami.
