Join us for a tour through the Old Roses Tartar Collection at Bush's Pasture Park. Elaine Sedlack, Eugene Heritage Rose Group Docent, will lead this walk highlighting many of the special roses we have in this collection. Elaine is one of the country's leading old roses experts and is a delightful, easy to talk to person!The Tuesday Gardeners have been working hard planting new roses to fill in the gaps, both in the ground and in the variety of old roses. It's a perfect chance to learn more about old roses (roses existing prior to 1867). We've ordered up perfect weather, but please dress according to the forecast and wear footwear suitable for uneven ground.
We will meet in the grassy area by the Bush House Conservatory.
