In the "Old drills, modern violence" seminar we will explore how traditional battlefield drills from feudal Japan can be intelligently adapted for modern self-protection needs.
We will examine which principles still hold value today, how techniques can be modified and how to apply them against the most realistic threats people face in the UK.
The training will be grounded in awareness, positioning, control, and decision making, with clear consideration given to legal boundaries and ethical responsibility if you need to defend yourself in our modern society.
