*Free & Open to the Public* Club Membership NOT required. This month's meeting of the Olathe Historical Society will include a presentation from Janice Himegarner - "Letters from The Oregon Trail." One of Janice’s ancestors wrote letters while traveling the Oregon Trail, and she will read to us from some of their letters. It’s bound to be quite interesting to hear the perspective of a traveler of those days! We hope to see you there.
There will also be a very short business meeting, during which board members & officers will be elected, and the coming year’s budget will be presented.
We will meet at the Heritage Center at Mahaffie, the address is 1200 E. Kansas City Road in Olathe. The program begins at 7pm, Thursday evening, March 19th. We look forward to seeing you!!
Annual Membership Dues for 2026-2027: Olathe Historical Society membership dues are payable in March each year.
Individual memberships are $20/year; family memberships are $30/year; lifetime memberships are $200.
Dues can be paid using any of these methods:
1) Bring cash or check to the March 19, 2026, general meeting.
