Zarzuela is a traditional Spanish musical genre that originated in the 17th century and has since evolved into a distinctive lyric form combining operatic, theatrical, and musical elements, featuring a mix of sung and spoken parts.
The genre found its way to the Americas during the colonial period and subsequently experienced a notable expansion and adaptation in the New World. As Spanish culture took root in Latin America, the genre merged with indigenous musical traditions, creating a unique fusion that reflected the cultural diversity of the region.
Featuring international singers Roxana Triana, Josué Brizuela, and Enrique Estrada, accompanied by Eden Marte on the piano.

La Zarzuela es un género musical tradicional español que se originó en el siglo XVII y desde entonces ha evolucionado hacia una forma lírica distintiva que combina elementos operísticos, teatrales y musicales, con una mezcla de partes cantadas y habladas.
El género llegó a América durante el período colonial y, posteriormente, experimentó una notable expansión y adaptación en el Nuevo Mundo. A medida que la cultura española se asentaba en América Latina, el género se fusionó con las tradiciones musicales indígenas, creando una combinación única que reflejaba la diversidad cultural de la región.
