The Event Line Up!Saturday (9/28)
Noon to 3pm - Plymouth Parade in Place Marketplace
This year, we are collaborating with the Plymouth Rotary to create a new feature, “Plymouth Parade in Place” from Noon to 3:00pm. Plymouth Parade in Place is part carnival part marketplace and provides the community with an opportunity to continue the tradition of the parade while all the road construction takes place throughout the city. Approximately 30 area businesses will have a booth. People can mingle and talk…parade in place. Area performers will take to the stage to provide their form of parade entertainment. Rotary will announce the winner of their raffle too. The Parade in Place will support the charitable giving of the Plymouth Rotary with all booth fees and raffle proceeds from the Rotary Raffle going to this purpose.
3 pm to 6pm—Twin Cities Brass Band plays polkas and Oktoberfest favorites. The Twin Cities Brass Band is an English-style brass band based in the heart of Minnesota. The TCBB has performed at various music festivals around the Twin Cities Metro, as well as at educational events. We put on traditional concerts throughout the year, bringing the grandeur and virtuosity of brass band music to audiences both young and old.
