Our annual Oktoberfest begins after mass with our traditional beer blessing by Father Edward at 12:15pm. Music begins at 12:30pm with Jeff Winard and his Polka Party until 3:30pm. The Natural Talent Polka Band (TNT) will be playing from 4:30pm until 8:00pm.Have fun in our Biergarten including cold Oktoberfest on Draught, paddle games throughout the day to win a variety of prizes, silent auction, and 50/50 cash raffle. There will be a kids' game area for the kiddos to enjoy and have fun. We will have a face painter for the kids, as well!
Traditional homemade German food will also be available: Rouladen dinner that includes spaetzle, red cabbage, and rye bread. Sauerbraten-style Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Brats, Franks, German potato salad, soft pretzels with cheese/mustard and apple streusel will be on the menu, too! New this year will be a limited-edition German breakfast sandwich while supplies last!
At 3:30pm, we will have a kids' root beer stein holding competition & at 4pm, we will have a traditional beer-stein holding competition (men & women's competition).
