About this Event
The Weight of Womanhood is an educational conversation exploring how weight, metabolism, and hormonal physiology evolve throughout a woman’s life — from adolescence through midlife and beyond.
This event moves beyond myths, blame, and one-size-fits-all advice to examine the biological, hormonal, and metabolic factors that influence women’s bodies at different stages of life.
Together, we’ll unpack why weight regulation looks different for every woman and how age, hormones, stress, genetics, and life transitions all play a role.
We will hear from Dr. Laure Demattia, DO and Dr. Elizabeth Saladin, MD who are both board certified in obesity medicine.
