About this Event
The Democratic Republic of Congo is victim of an unprovoked and unjust war for over three decades now. Rebel group and Rwanda's army have attacked and burned villages. Poor innocents people specially women and children are raped and killed. This has caused more than 5 million people to be displaced in the East of the D.R.C.
Please Join us in this DINNER FUNDRAISER to celebrate the D.R. CONGO cuisine and culture and raise much needed funds for DISPLACED CHILDREN AND WOMEN IN THE EAST OF CONGO.

Time: 5.30pm - 10.30pm
Venue: VONDEL RESTAURANT, 8 Victoria Road, Devonport, Auckland.
ALL PROCESSES WILL GO TOWARD PROVIDING FOOD, CLEAN WATER, CLOTHING, BLANKETS, SHOES, SHELTERS FOR THESE DISPLACED PEOPLE VICTIMS OF THIS UNJUST WAR via TCN (Tous vers un Congo Nouveau), a local NGO that supports victims of this war.
We will have Poem presentations, Congolese food, Drink, Congolese Music, D.J and Dance floor.
