In Japanese, oiwai お祝い (“oy-why”) means “celebration” (Bob loved speaking Japanese with his dad). He was never big on any to-do about himself, but Bob loved to celebrate others. Whether at a show, on a porch, or quietly showing up with a guitar to a late-night campfire, he cared most about being connected to people. It only seems fitting we get together for an evening of Bob’s favorite things: music, community, cold beer, and the people he loved most. Feel free to bring a chair, an instrument for some nighttime jams, and some stories to share. Details:
