Oil Portrait Classes with Cathy van Ee
Learn to capture true likeness, personality and light in your portrait paintings with accomplished artist Cathy van Ee. Her relaxed and encouraging classes support you in developing your own artistic voice while building core skills in colour, palette management, anatomy, painting edges and more.
Special attention is given to expressive backgrounds, exploring how they can enhance mood, depth and storytelling within your portraits.
Cathy van Ee’s career spans over four decades in the creative arts, with portraits held in both private and public collections.
This 6 week course is ideal for intermediate to advanced students, though beginners with experience in drawing or other mediums are warmly welcome.
