About this Event
Led by Hong Fu, this program invites participants to refine their visual sensitivity to light, colour, form, and composition through focused studio practice.
This is not a casual painting class.
It is a concentrated exploration of visual judgement, colour relationships, and artistic awareness, developed through close observation and sustained work.
What to Expect
Painting is not simply about making images.
It is about learning what deserves to be painted, and why.
Across still life, landscape, and figure themes, participants will:
- Develop a more sensitive eye for light and colour
- Understand how colour relationships shape atmosphere
- Improve awareness of composition and visual balance
- Strengthen confidence in artistic decision-making
- Experience painting as a process of observation, not imitation
This masterclass offers a quiet, focused environment for painters who wish to slow down, look deeper, and reconnect with the act of seeing.
