About this Event
This session of 5 weekly classes for oil painting instruction is open to all levels of students. Each class will include short lectures, hand-outs, demonstrations, and individual instruction on the process and approach to oil painting. Every week will build on the concepts introduced in the previous class. The classes will take place at Gather located 714 3rd Avenue in downtown Fairbanks. The class will meet from 5:00pm-8:00pm.
All levels of experience are welcome! April will demonstrate and teach her approach to oil painting, focusing on values, atmospheric perspective, composition, and color theory. Students will come away with the tools to confidently use oil painting supplies to complete a painting from start to finish. Participants will provide their own painting supplies. There will be a maximum of 8 participants to ensure quality individual instruction.
