Oil painting has been the preferred medium of many great masters. This painting technique offers endless possibilities and has enormous versatility.
This course provides a first step in the discovery of this painting method.
With the help of our artist, in a creative and captivating way you will get to know and learn the essential techniques through a diversified program.
The PROGRAM is divided into 4 sessions lasting 3 hours each:
1- In the first session, you will get to know the materials used in oil painting, such as brushes, mediums, and other accessories. Color is a fundamental element in painting, therefore, in a first approach, its basic concepts be studied and applied in several exercises. You'll learn how to blend and create transitions, as well as paint evenly and opaque.
2/3 - The second and third session consists of the study of three-dimensionality. Starting from a photographic reference, you will paint an object exploring the lights and shadows. Through the various techniques and color mixing you will learn how to represent space and depth.
4 - To give rise to the imagination your final project will be based on free a interpretation or reproduction of a famous painting.
No previous experience in illustration or painting is necessary. Beginners and experienced artists are welcome!
After learning the methods, the tricks and the different ways to apply them in the different styles of painting, you will have the opportunity to explore your own ideas without any help!
All materials that you need for this course are included.
We offer a cup of tea or coffee! Small snacks and a glass of wine are also available.
*Our tutor will meet you at the front door of the building (Lote A), 10 minutes before the beginning of the Workshop.

A pintura a óleo tem sido o método artístico preferido de alguns dos grandes mestres da história da arte. Esta técnica de pintura oferece infinitas possibilidades, a sua principal vantagem é a enorme versatilidade.
Este curso proporciona um primeiro passo na descoberta desta técnica.
Com a ajuda do nosso artista, de uma forma criativa e cativante vai conhecer e aprender as técnicas essenciais através de um programa diversificado.
O PROGRAMA organiza-se em 4 sessões com a duração de 3 horas cada:
1- Na primeira sessão vai conhecer os materiais mais utilizados na pintura a óleo, tais como pinceis, mediums, entre outros. A cor é um elemento fundamental na pintura. Numa primeira abordagem serão apresentados os seus conceitos básicos e os mesmos serão aplicados em diversos exercícios. Vai aprender a misturar e criar transições entre cores tal como pintar de forma uniforme e opaca.
2/3 - A segunda e terceira sessão consiste no estudo da tridimensionalidade. A partir de uma referência fotográfica vai pintar um objeto explorando as luzes e as sombras. Através das diversas técnicas e mistura de cores vai aprender a representar o espaço e a profundidade no âmbito da linguagem pictórica.
4 - Para dar azo a imaginação o último trabalho baseia-se na livre interpretação ou na reprodução de um quadro existente.
Não é necessária experiência prévia em desenho nem pintura. Pintores iniciantes e experientes são bem-vindos.
Após aprender as técnicas, os truques e as diferentes formas de aplicar os mesmos nos diferentes estilos de pintura, terá a oportunidade de explorar sozinho as suas próprias ideias!
Todos os materiais necessários para a execução das pinturas estão incluídos.
Oferecemos uma chávena de chá ou café! Também disponibilizamos um copo de vinho e pequenos snacks.
