🔥 Join Us for the Next Oie Voaldyn Folk & Fire Festival Meeting! 🔥Mark your calendars! Our next meeting will take place on Sunday, 13th April at 2:30pm at Peel Masonic Hall. We’ll be discussing some important elements of the festival, including:
🔥Costume/Choreography
🔥Blocking - this includes a recce on the beach to figure out timings of the blessings etc.
All of our characters are now allocated, however, we are still looking for volunteers to help make this event a blazing success! We need passionate people for the following roles:
🔥Paraders (for both the Summer and Winter Parades)
🔥Marshalls
🔥Crowds / queues / workshop help & management
🔥Arena setup team
🔥Merchandise stand shift workers
🔥Torch lighters
🔥Clear up crew (Monday)
🔥Experienced face painters
🔥Someone who is experienced with stage choreography
This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved, show your support, and be part of something special! Whether you’re a seasoned veteran or a new face, your help is greatly appreciated.
