About this Event
This program starts on March 4th and runs every Wednesday until March 18th. The program is designed as a 3-part series, however individual classes can be completed if a participant has a strong interest in one topic.
The OhioHealth Stroke Wellness Program is offering a 3-part nutrition education series sharing nutritional concepts, food tips, recipes, cooking demonstrations and samples to stroke survivors and their care partners. This is designed to help people manage symptoms after a stroke, reduce secondary complications, improve energy and prevent future strokes by improving nutrition. Participants will have opportunities to ask questions with a licensed dietician and physical therapist to make healthier choices to influence their overall well-being.
We will be offering a virtual option for those who want to participate but have transportation or time limitations. Please email [email protected] if you want to learn more.
