The hills will be alive with the Sound of Music on April 3 at the 1920s Theatre as Sauder Village plays host to Ohio Goes to the Movies, part of America 250 Ohio celebrations.
Ohio Goes to the Movies™ (OGTTM) is a statewide celebration of movies showcasing Ohio’s contributions to America’s film industry and moviemaking. A Signature Event of America 250-Ohio, OGTTM will start mid-February 2026 and run through October 2026 – about 250 days involving all of the state’s 88 counties. Sauder Village is proud to host this FREE screening of the Sound of Music featuring Ohio’s own Eleanor Parker as the Baroness. Enjoy preshow snacks or take a picture in our photo booth. Enjoy a sip from our cash bar. We will have trivia, prizes and more in addition to the movie.
