Ohara Ikebana Workshop & FREE trial 7th June 12.30-15.00 [PHYSICAL MEETING]

Ohara School of Ikebana, England Chapter has been running HYBRID workshops via face-to-face at Daiwa Foundation (London) AND via online (zoom)!

EVERYONE (both Members and Non-Members) is required to book their tickets.

Programme:

12.30 - 13.00 Demonstration by Miyuki (Ikebana style: Water reflecting style moribana)

13.00 - 14.00 Ikebana arrangement by members

13.00 - 14.00 Trial session - Trial teacher (Asako)

14.00 - 15.00 Displays of arrangements (Show and tell), Socialising

Please book early to avoid disappointment (places are limited).

First-time trial participants? You are welcome to join a FREE (£5 for flower cost) trial session. All necessary materials (flowers, container, kenzan and scissors) and personal tuition will be provided. Booking deadline is Sat 2nd June at 23.59.

Second-time trial participants? You are invited to join another trial session with a reduced rate of £10 (£5 fee + £5 flowers). All necessary materials (flowers, container, kenzan and scissors) will be provided. We hope you will have a chance to learn from a different teacher from your first trial (subject to availability of trial teachers). Booking deadline is Sat 2nd June at 23.59.

Other participants - This month's suggested ikebana style is Water reflecting style or any choice of ikebana style (according to your grade, please feel free to consult your teacher). Please bring all necessary materials and flowers (or contact [email protected] if you require any assistance). Booking deadline is Monday 4th June at 23.59.

*We will have time to display all the attendees' arrangements (both physical and virtual attendees) and exchange comments and advices.

Please note that 'member's price' is available to those who are members of England Chapter only (members of other chapters or other ikebana organisations are considered as 'Non-member').
